/India PRwire/ - Satra Properties incorporated in the year 1983 and started with undertaking the business of leasing, hire purchase, investments, finance and trading. The company is listed with the Bombay Stock Exchange and is an ISO 9001:2000 certified real estate development company. Their business activities include all aspects of real estate development, from the identification and acquisition of lands, to the planning, execution and marketing of projects.

Just when the real estate market is on a bull’s race with increasing prices, there is also a high need of technological support in order to strengthen the image of the company and also make the processes a lot simpler and less redundant. The promoters and managers therefore felt that they should introduce a platform where they can automate the entire process and this is when they approached IMT for a solution.

Interactive Multimedia Technologies (IMT) is a premier Mumbai-India based IT Services Provider, offering cutting-edge software, web and multimedia solutions. IMT has synchronized itself with the ever changing needs of the clients when it comes to IT requirements and has always created solutions that has been catalyst to the growth of the industry IMT suggested Satra Properties to make use of IMT eBuild™, an ERP software which comes packed with features that are slated to take the Real Estate and Construction industry to a new level altogether. The ERP comes with certain important built-in modules such as Purchase & Stores, Sales, Architecture, Maintenance, Accounts, Engineering, Legal, and Payroll to help ease the processes of the Construction and Real Estate industry.

The integration of the ERP system IMT eBuild™ developed by IMT will help Satra Properties from Mumbai to automate their real estate and construction division completely. The modules are built with exceptional features like the eBuild Accounts Module which comes loaded with powerful browser-architectured enterprise model delivering control, speed, responsiveness and most importantly cost saving. The eBuild Purchase Module comes with Inventory and Payable Modules in which the Purchase Managers can easily access information about the vendors, stock levels and purchase analysis report in real time. eBuild Sales Module comes packed with all the sales related information which includes feedback from the customers and provides for Customer Relationship Management feature. eBuild Payroll Module forms an important part for any kind of organization. The salaries are being handled by the module and it facilitates timely release of the salary in accordance with the HR policies, also handling reimbursements, loans and advances which also include PF and other factors. Challans and TDS are also handled by the module. eBuild Architecture Module is a comprehensive module where every action of the construction will contribute to the process of building. eBuild Engineering Module comes packed with a powerful project management tool to monitor and control the project data which evaluates and enables the design-to-cost engineering and also helps in optimization of the construction cost. The solution also includes planning of the project to cost of completion which will make sure that the costs are ascertained based on the planning of the building and that would keep a check on the cost. The engineering module is also inter-related to other modules such as Accounting and Architecture Modules.

The real estate and construction market is quite large and diverse as it comprises of several large segments such as construction of the building right from the project management stage up till the completion of the particular project. Satra Properties have been associated with the development of real estate and have their own needs which they hope to get incorporated with the new software solution IMT eBuild™. The real estate is slated to grow at 35% p.a. and there is a strong need to use the technological benefits in keeping pace with the developments. The share of software expenditures in each segment varies considerably as well across each one from planning of particular real estate to the implementation. The relatively immature technological state of the sector coupled to its sluggish and haphazard growth pattern over the past few years and the lingering uncertainty about positive significant changes in the scale of Government investments in infra-structure makes it an extremely difficult process to handle and the kind of processes involved has been one of the major reasons why there is a huge requirement in the field to have ERP softwares and solutions coming up with such features as presented by IMT eBuild™. The ERP successfully cater to the unique business needs and requirements of real estate companies like Satra Properties. That is, this Real Estate ERP Software can be customized to suit individual company needs which include addition or modification of various features, functions, etc which are suitable for the real estate companies like Satra. Since every company has different business needs, an efficient ERP solution like IMT eBuild™. have successfully understood the needs of the growing real estate and construction industry.
True to their nature, Satra Group seeks cost effective and innovative solutions to meet the clients' requirement and is known for executing projects on time. After successful implementation of the solution Mr. Praful Satra and Ms. Meenaxi Satra, promoters of the group hope to continue the same kind of deliverables and also hope to streamline their processes. With IMT eBuild™, they intend to make the planning and execution of their projects a lot more structured as this will definitely help in timely completion of the projects. At times, when a small delay in material delivery means a huge escalation of cost, Satra Properties hope to curtail the same in future with the help of IMT eBuild™
Source: Press release distribution via India PRwire

So, while the two campuses may be physically divided by the terrain, the entire campus area is unified by a single secure network that can be accessed from anywhere in the Institute.

Nortel’s WiMAX solution delivers many advantages to the Institute. Not only does the solution provide high-bandwidth capabilities across several kilometers, but it is also available from Nortel in the unlicensed 5.8 GHz band. This means that the Institute can use existing spectrum, saving the cost of licensing. The solution provides high-bandwidth capabilities, opening up opportunities for innovative educational techniques like video conferencing, tele-classrooms, webcasts of lectures for distance learning, and mobile desktop/laptop-based video conferencing. Students can access resources wherever they are instead of having to go to a central location, like the library or computer center. Lessons and lectures can be uploaded by teachers, and then accessed by students wherever they are to learn at their own pace.

“NERIST anticipates over 70 percent savings on network operational costs by selecting Nortel’s Wireless Mesh Network technology rather than a standard WiFi solution,” said Hitesh Lokhandwala, managing director, Nortel India. “Key to the reliability of the solution is the mesh network’s ability to dynamically and seamlessly reroute traffic across individual access points with zero disruption. Add to that, the reduced capital expenditure of not requiring network connections to each access point as WiFi does. Also, the range of the mesh solution is typically around five to six times greater than standard WiFi. With all this, the combined Wireless Mesh/WiMAX solution is very beneficial.”

Nortel’s Wireless Mesh Network (WMN) is a secure, highly scalable solution that delivers low cost wireless broadband for outdoor or expansive indoor areas. The students and staff benefit from an always-on broadband network that gives them the flexibility to connect and work any time, from any place on the Institute’s campus. The WiMAX network delivers blazingly high speeds giving students and staff an uninterrupted medium for data, voice and video access. In a hyperconnected era, Nortel is enabling NERIST to provide its 1600+ inhabitants with the high-speed, pervasive connectivity they demand.

Nortel Education Solutions for colleges, universities and other institutions of higher education provide secure access to campus resources and enhanced student, faculty and staff interaction using advanced multimedia applications delivered over converged IP networks.

Source: Press release distribution via India PRwire

About Nortel

Nortel is a recognized leader in delivering communications capabilities that make the promise of Business Made Simple a reality for our customers.
/India PRwire/ -
Maersk Line is pleased to announce that A.P. Moller - Maersk has signed an agreement with Hyundai Heavy Industries for the delivery of 18 container vessels in 2011 and 2012. The vessels will each have a capacity of 4,500 TEU (twenty- foot equivalent unit).

The ships are designed to meet the highest demands for safe and economic transportation of goods in geographies such as the Eastern Mediterranean, Africa, and Latin America. In addition, each vessel is equipped with a waste heat recovery system. The system reuses excess heat from the exhaust and thus generates energy for propulsion of the vessel or on-board electricity consumption. The reduction in fuel consumption results in a corresponding reduction of emissions. It is the first time that an Asian yard will install a waste heat recovery system of this size and efficiency.

"We are very happy with this order. These vessels are part of our fleet renewal and development programme. They will enable us to continue to offer competitive container shipping based on a modern, economical, and environmentally friendly fleet," says Senior Vice President Michel Deleuran, Head of Network & Product in Maersk Line.

In view of the flexible design of the vessels, Maersk Line will work on a variety of deployment scenarios. Currently, we expect to deploy the vessels in the trades to and from Sub-Saharan Africa.

Michel Deleuran explains, "We have served the Sub-Saharan African market for more than 40 years, and we are dedicated to support the continued trade development in the region. We aim to continue to develop our services and support our customers' increasing business in the trades between Sub-Saharan Africa and the Americas, Europe, and Asia. These vessels will support us in that ambition and also show our long term commitment to Africa."

Today, Maersk Line has a 25% market share in Sub-Saharan Africa and own offices in 35 countries in the region. Customers are offered fixed weekly services in most trades, the best schedule integrity in terms of port calls, coverage and timeliness, and transit times are among the best in the market.

In Sub-Saharan Africa, the average export growth is currently 7% p.a. The average import growth is 11% p.a. Since 2002, export and import volumes have almost doubled. To support this development, the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group is not only involved in container shipping (Maersk Line, Safmarine, and Ocean Africa Container Line), but also in other container related activities such as terminals, stevedoring, logistics, warehousing and rail transportation.

"During the last 50 years, container transportation has been a key driver in globalization. Our business is about connecting the globe and we believe globalization based on fair and free trade is a winning proposition for Sub-Saharan Africa. Every day, our efforts and services contribute to improving world trade and thereby the living standards of people around the world," concludes Michel Deleuran.

Source: Press release distribution via India PRwire

/India PRwire/ - IMT eBuild™ ERP Software comes packed with features that are slated to take the Real Estate and Construction industry to a new level altogether. The ERP comes with certain important built-in modules such as Purchase & Stores, Sales, Architecture, Maintenance, Accounts, Engineering, Legal, and Payroll to help ease the processes of the Construction and Real Estate industry. The advantages of this ERP software are as follows:

• Online Integration with HO and Branches;

• Quantity Estimation and Planning;

• Online Documentation;

• MIS Reports;

• System Security.

Xsis Informatics, Bhopal, an Exclusive Channel Partner of IMT for Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh states in India has been instrumental in the contract assigned by Shubhalay Infrastructures to IMT.

With the integration of IMT eBuild™, Shubhalay Infrastructures hope to automate the entire process. Some of the modules have exceptional features like the eBuild Accounts Module - a powerful architectured enterprise module delivering control, speed, responsiveness and most important cost saving. eBuild Purchase Module comes with Inventory and Payable Modules in which the Purchase Managers can easily access information about the vendors, stock levels and purchase analysis report in real time. eBuild Sales Module comes packed with all the sales related information which includes feedback from the customers and provides for Customer Relationship Management feature. eBuild Payroll Module of the system forms an important part of the software as it facilitates payment of salaries in accordance with the HR norms and also takes care of the handling of reimbursements, loans and advances which includes PF and other factors. The Engineering Module is also inter-related to other modules such as Accounts and Architecture Modules.

The infra-structure and construction market is a quite large and diverse market as it comprises of several large segments such as project and civil engineering for roads and supporting art works (bridges, viaducts, etc.); sanitation and sewage systems; harbor construction and railways, among others. The share of software expenditures in each segment varies considerably as well across each one from planning to implementation. The relatively immature technological state of the sector overall coupled to its sluggish and haphazard growth pattern over the past few years and the lingering uncertainty about positive significant changes in the scale of Government investments in infra-structure makes it an extremely difficult process to handle and the kind of processes involved has been one of the major reasons why there is a huge requirement in the field to have ERP softwares and solutions coming up with such features as presented by IMT eBuild™. The ERP successfully cater to the unique business needs and requirements of real estate companies. That is, real estate ERP solutions can be customized to suit individual company needs, which include addition or modification of various features, functions, etc. Since every company has different business needs, an efficient ERP solution like IMT eBuild™ have successfully understood the needs and have designed the solution in such a way to cater to the business in a broad and systematic manner.

After successful implementation of IMT eBuild™. Mr. Manoj Singh, the promoter of the group expects the work to be a lot smoother and that the software will streamline the processes and benefit the sector in a big way.

Source: Press release distribution via India PRwire

About IMT:

Interactive Multimedia Technologies is a premier Mumbai-India based IT Services Provider, which offers cutting-edge software, web and multimedia solutions.
