ITC's Personal Care Products Division strengthened its consumer insights based product innovation with 'Laboratoire Naturel', a pioneering, one-of-its-kind, world class Centre for Consumer and Product Interaction in Bengaluru. In line with ITC's commitment to deliver world class products backed by research and innovation, the Centre aims to create a forum for establishing greater direct connect between the division's scientists, brand teams and the Indian consumer, with the objective of enhanced product innovation, delivering unique and differentiated benefits.

Spread over an area of 10,000 square feet, the Centre boasts of a skin and hair evaluation clinic, where consumers are invited to experience products at the developmental stage. Designed by Bengaluru based Future Research Design Company (FRDC), the Centre is built on a harmonious balance of nature and science, echoing the brand attributes of ITC's Fiama Di Wills range of personal care products.

'Laboratoire Naturel' is strengthened by the expertise of globally recognized scientists, who, with a combined experience of more than a 100 years in personal care product development, understand and assimilate consumer needs to create products that adhere to international standards and benchmarks. The team of highly qualified research scientists, hair stylists and cosmetologists test thousands of Indian hair samples to find the best combination of exotic oils and ingredients from over 50 countries to create products that best suit Indian hair standards. In addition to the product innovation led research, the laboratory houses a Consumer-Interaction-Centre to provide consultation on skin and hair care related issues.

In addition, with a contemporary design based on eco-friendly materials and environmentally conscious technologies 'Laboratoire Naturel' has also received the prestigious LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification, creating a radiant synergy of science and nature.
