The Power Tools Division of Bosch today announced the launch of its first indigenously designed power tool, the Blower GBL 800E Professional, for both the Indian and the global market.

The product is manufactured on the new lean manufacturing line built on the Bosch Production system principles, and was developed by the R&D team in Bangalore. The unique construction design of the GBL 800E ensures a continuous, constant and efficient volumetric flow rate. The multivane Impeller and the fan casing, along with the housing & handle are made from high grade thermo plastics. Its unique shape and size ensures high efficiency.

About GBL 800 E - Working Principle

The air blower has a unique working principle that it is fitted with an electric motor coupled with an impeller. As the impeller rotates, the air entrapped between the impeller blades, i.e the air that is drawn from the atmosphere into the fan casing, is radially and circumferentially accelerated.

It is then pressurized in the fan casing chamber, and subsequently pushed along a special path through the Impeller and side channel till it is discharged into the discharge port i.e nozzle (in blow mode) & dust bag (in suction mode). The air flows around the fan casing contours where the flow pattern is repeated. The Impeller rotates with absolutely no contact between it and the casing.

The air blower has constructive features like an impeller duly dynamically balanced, thermo plastic body & casing, and fitted with Electric Motor.

• Blowing husk at rice, pulse, cotton, lumber & spinning mills
