On the sidelines of Agritech 2009, a conference on agriculture and its related topics is being organised to provide insight on the latest developments in this field.
The trade fairs division of Cox and Kings has partnered with EL AL, and Turkish Airlines to provide delegates from India an opportunity to sample the best at affordable prices. The package cost for the six night/seven day tour would work out to approximately Rs 100,000.
Speaking on the launch, Arup Sen, executive director, Cox and Kings said, ``over the last couple of years our trade fairs division has taken large delegations to various trade fairs and we believe that for those engaged in agro based industries Agritech 2009 it is an important event.’’
The Agritech 2009 is in its 17th year and is organized by Agritech Association, Kenes International, the Israel Trade Fairs & Convention Center, in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Israel Institute for Export & International Cooperation, the Ministry of Industry Trade and Labor and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Dani Meiri, CEO, Agritech, said 250 local and 25 global exhibitors are expected to take part in the fair. This will be one of the largest exhibitions ever held in Israel and is spread over an area of 27,000 square meters of the Convention Center in Tel-Aviv.
As in previous years, Agritech 2009 exhibition will present the wide range of fields related with agriculture technologies including innovations and developments of fruits, vegetables and flowers, irrigation equipment, seed manufacturing, chemicals and fertilizers, growing of animals, treatment of fresh crop products, organic agriculture and agriculture mechanization.
For delegates registering with Cox and Kings, we have designed an exciting itinerary. It includes agricultural related visits to the kibbutz to see the Green Houses, dairy farming, drip irrigation, horticulture and various desert plantations. Sightseeing tours to Haifa, Tiberius, Sea of Galilee and The Dead Sea have also been included in the tour.
