Guardian Education launches students educational tour to US Nasa Space And Rocket Centre

Over 50 students belonging to various esteemed schools from Pune and Mumbai will be a part of a first ever students delegation from the city that will to travel to the US NASA Space and Rocket Centre, at Huntsville, Alabama in USA. Organized by Guardian Education an offshoot of Guardian Holidays this exclusive 10 nights/ 11 days tour, will include a 7 night/ 8 days stay at the space centre in which students from the schools will participate in the Space Academy workshops.

Organized by Guardian Education an offshoot of Guardian Holidays this exclusive 10 nights/ 11 days tour, will include a 7 night/ 8 days stay at the space centre in which students from the schools will participate in the Space Academy workshops.

Speaking to reporters Mr. Sandeep Joshi Director of Guardian Education said that during the stay students will explore the concepts of Space History in the form of Apollo Missions, Shuttle Exhibits, Museum Hunt etc. , Astronaut Training , covering topics like 1/6the gravity chair, G Force, Mars Stimulator etc.

An hands on experience in form of Simulated Missions, where the students will take in the role of member of mission control or a member of a shuttle flight crew. Throughout the experience, trainees discover that the technological designs have constraints and that its development and use requires the combined efforts of many people. A special session on Robotics Designing where, trainees become NASA Engineers as they work with their peers to design a robot capable of a variety of tasks will also be organized.

In addition to above, topics like Astronomy and Night Telescope, Introduction to International Space Station, Russian Space History (Sputnik), Aerodynamics & Aeronautics, Land Survival, Flight Physiology will also be covered. A Mid Week review would also be conducted to analyze the performances of students and to facilitate learning on a larger platform.

Both Mr. Joshi and Mr. Sabade informed that in addition, to the Space Centre, students would be staying for 2 nights/ 3 days at Atlanta visiting the CNN Headquarters, Atlanta Olympic Stadium, Georgia Aquarium, Martin Luther King museum etc. 1 night/ 2 days would also be spent at New York visiting the Statue of Liberty in the cruise, Rockefeller Museum, Times Square, Empire State Building etc.

We have started Guardian Education’s venture with a consistent effort to enrich and provide a platform to students, enhance their knowledge and to gain first hand experience by visiting facilities like NASA, Singapore Science Centre amongst other places.

Earlier Guardian Education was instrumental in getting Singapore Tourism Board and Singapore Education to hold a Familiarization tour for 20 principals of esteemed schools in Pune to Singapore. During the visit the Principals attended workshops, and programs including a meeting with the Ministry of Education of Singapore were organized by Guardian Education and co-hosted by Singapore Tourism Board and Singapore Education.

We at Guardian Education have been involved with various tours for students; they added recently the company took students and teachers to a educational tour to the Singapore Science Centre.

Mr Joshi added that Guardian Education is also arranging an official student’s exchange program with the Japanese Government at Ishikawa Prefecture very soon.
