Deutsche Logistics to bring in investment to improve indian transport market
Tweet-- With the increment of cordial relationship between India and European Union, Deutsche Logistics sees major opportunities that can be explored. The group's Managing Director for Indian operations Mr.A. Bhowmik while presenting the Trevoris Group's future five years plan said, "Transportation & logistics industry in India is in very flexible position and there are lot of opportunities that are yet to be explored. Analyzing the industry's growth and structure, we believe we can bring major significant changes in Indian markets. We hope should there changes are done, it will increase the GDP to a considerable growth."
He further added, "We have planned to bring in $150 mn investment, where $37.5 mn will be used to set up our IT & Infrastructure and remaining for our physical infrastructure with option for four major hubs to be built up in Kolkata, Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai for only outbound air cargo movements."
Deutsche Logistics already present in more than 190 countries with a pan global network and including India in its network it will make India as one of the important Hub in Asia. Deutsche Logistics future five plan also includes introduction of its own Airline service into Indian Air space, which will be considered as priority, based on the response firm get from market.
