Overnite Express Ltd., one of the largest courier & cargo service providers in India plans to significantly increase its presence in South India. As part of its expansion plans, Overnite Express Ltd. announced its strategic-tie up with Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) here in Hyderabad today. Overnite will be utilizing the dedicated space in various long routes Garuda Buses operated by APSRTC to transport goods, parcels and couriers. This service will benefit diverse range of industry to move their products between destinations in faster time, informed Mr. O. P. Rajgarhia, Chairman and Managing Director, Overnite Express Ltd. at a press meet held in city today. Overnite Express Ltd., already a prominent player in air cargo business is now poised for diversification into warehousing and logistics. This is being planned in order to provide the industry all their material handling solutions under one roof, Mr. Rajgarhia informed.

The new service will be launched formally today evening at the Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station premises, Hyderabad by Mr. V. Dinesh Reddy, IPS – VC & MD, APSRTC. The new service being launched will cover four states viz., Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Overnite Express Ltd. is in the process of opening over 100 branches and express collection centers all over the state. Already a strong player in the north and eastern regions of the country, Overnite Express Ltd. is now concentrating on South India. The launch of this new service will help Overnite reach most of the prominent destinations in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Mr. Rajgarhia informed that the Indian economy is moving at a very fast pace and has become a favorite destination of all Multi National Companies (MNCs).
