Indian Textile Machinery buyers planning major purchases at ITMA ASIA + CITME 2010 show
India to bring Single Largest Buyer delegation at the Biggest Textile Machinery show in Asia

-- With over 95 per cent of the exhibition space already sold, ITMA ASIA + CITME 2010 show authorities are in town to woo textile machinery buyers from India. ITMA ASIA + CITME 2010 is the largest Textile Machinery show in Asia attracting over 1000 exhibitors from all over the world. Over 100,000 Trade buyers are expecting to visit this mega textile machinery show and India is expected to be the biggest International buyer country.
The United Nations has predicted that the world economy will bounce back in 2010 with a global growth rate of 2.4 per cent. It has also highlighted that economic growth in 2010 will be strongest in developing countries, particularly in China and India, which are expected to grow at 8.8 and 6.5 per cent respectively.
At ITMA ASIA + CITME 2010, Chinese manufacturers make up the biggest country group, booking almost 50 per cent of the space, with European and Japanese manufacturers taking more than 35 per cent. In terms of sectors, spinning forms the largest, constituting around 30 per cent of the exhibit space, followed by finishing (25 per cent), knitting, garment making and textile processing (20 per cent) and weaving (15 per cent). India has a strong exhibitor presence at the show and major Indian Textile machinery manufacturing including Lakshmi Machine Works, Tex Tech Industries, Sarex Overseas, Lakshmi Ring Travellers, Mahalaxmi Rubtech, Perfect Equipments, Super Tex Industries, Precision Rubber Industries Simta Clear Coats, Prashant Gamatex etc. are exhibiting at the show.
The India Visitor Promotion road shows kicked off in Indore on 23 January 2010 and is being organised in Amritsar on 15th February 2010. The Road Show is covering all major cities such as Ahmedabad, Surat, Coimbatore, Erode, Tirupur, Madurai, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Panipat before it concludes in Bhilwara. The road shows will give a good opportunity to Indian textile machinery buyers to meet and interact with ITMA ASIA + CITME 2010 organizers and finalise their plans for visiting the mega event.
Speaking to the press, Mr. Sooraj Dhawan, spokesperson for the ITMA ASIA + CITME 2010 show authorities said, " No other exhibition in China has the support of CEMATEX or CTMA, and India is a priority visitor market for us."
"ITMA ASIA + CITME 2010 event shall offer Textile machinery buyers from India the largest range of machineries from all over the world and they will have the opportunity to check live performance before confirming their purchase decisions", added Mr. Dhawan."
ITMA ASIA + CITME 2010 authorities have planned a series of Indian Visitor promotion activities which include Advertisements in Trade Publications, Web based promotion and a 12 city road show spanning all over India.
The India Visitor Promotion road shows are being organized in association with Orbitz Corporate and Leisure Travels India Pvt Ltd. and Mr. Neeraj Dev from Orbitz added, " The road shows have given a good opportunity to Indian textile machinery buyers to meet and interact with ITMA ASIA + CITME 2010 organizers and finalize their plans for visiting the mega event.
