Naperville Sports Weekly, a brand new show that is being produced and aired by Naperville Community Television, Channel 17, prepares to make its debut on Sunday, August 26, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. The station’s production teams have been canvassing the community over the past week capturing exciting sports footage for the first show.

Naperville Sports Weekly will air on Channel 17 on Sundays at 6:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m.,

11:00 p.m., and 1:00 a.m.; Mondays at 8:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 11:00 p.m., and 1:00 a.m.; and Tuesdays at 8:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 9:30 p.m., and 1:00 a.m. A new show will air each Sunday. Viewers also may watch the show at www.nctv17.com through simultaneous video streaming provided by ZEZAN Data Center.

The program is being presented in partnership with The Naperville Sun whose journalists will provide analysis and commentary each week. A variety of high school sports will be highlighted through video clips to catch the excitement of the competition, and NCTV17 sports broadcaster Jeff Mahoney will chat one-on-one with Sun staff. Scoreboard results, local sports trivia and more will keep sports fans engaged. This is one of the only places Naperville will be able to see such extensive television coverage of local high school sports.
