Team Airtel and Forest Department, Bangalore celebrate Green Christmas, organize a Sapling plantation
Tweet-- The team at Enterprise Services, Bharti Airtel and officials from the Forest Department, Bangalore participated in a sapling plantation programme on wednesday at the premises of Bangalore Forest Department in the presence of Mr. Najib Khan, COO-South Enterprise Services and Mr. V.Ganesh, Range Forest Officer, Mr. KR Puram Range, Mr.Urban Division, Bangalore.
With Green Cover becoming an increasing area of focus for communities today, a team effort such as this from the team at Enterprise Services, Bharti Airtel is aimed to create, sustain awareness and commitment to our environment. Hence this year's theme for the team's celebration for Christmas has been aptly named- Green Christmas. As a part of this celebration more than 50 tree saplings by Airtel employees were planted, with each tree being adopted by the person who planted it.
