This comes on the back of an extremely successful GSM services launch, under the brand name TATA DOCOMO, wherein the Company has added over 1 million subscribers within the first month of launch.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rajesh Puri, President – Wireless Operations, said, “We are delighted with the overwhelming response from the market to our various launches, including our recent GSM services launch, and before that to our CDMA based Tata Indicom initiatives, as also the slew of broadband products put out by us through initiatives like Digital MumbaiTM. This is the icing on the cake, coming on the back of a number of TRAI reports that confirm the superior quality of our network.”
