Huawei recognized as one of Asia's top technology companies for second consecutive year by ZDNet Asia
Huawei also named top 10 fastest-growing companies in 2006/07
Tweet-- Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. (“Huawei”), a leader in providing next generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, announced today that it has been named as one of the top 50 technology companies for second consecutive year in ZDNet Asia’s Top Tech Index 2006/07. Huawei is also listed in ZDNet Asia's fastest-growing net income list, and is the only global company headquartered from China to be listed in both the Top Tech Index and fastest-growing net income list.
ZDNet Asia's Top Tech Index identifies the Top Tech 50, which are the industry's movers and shakers based on several factors including financial performance, market activities in Asia, and industry standing. The 2006 Top Tech 50 firms were selected from more than 100 companies operating across 10 countries in Asia.
Similar to the previous years, the top 10 fastest-growing companies that scored highest in average year-on-year net income growth over four years were granted awards, too.
