In the CEAT Domestic Cricket Ratings released as on Feb 1, 2008 Delhi cricketer A Chopra has topped for best batsmen and no 2 position for overall cricketing.
A Chopra garnered a total of 41 points staking a claim to the CEAT Domestic Cricket Team of the Year 2007-2008. He is closely trailed by P Kumar with 40 points on the 3rd position, while P Vinay Kumar has taken the 4th spot with 40 points followed with R Bhatia with 39 points.
OVERALL CRIKETING – TOP FIVE
A Chopra, one of the most successful cricketers of all times and perhaps the stylish player of India, leads the No 2 position in race for the CEAT Domestic Cricketer of the Year 2007-2008 as on Feb 1, 2008 with a tally of 41 points. Chopra has also topped the best batsman list of the CCR. Amongst Indian players, Y Pathan scores the highest with 50 total points followed by A Chopra in No2 position and R Bhatia in No 5 position.

CEAT INTERNATIONAL CRICKETER OF THE YEAR 2007-08RATINGS AS ON 1ST FEB 2008- Jayawardene leads best cricketer, batsman & fielder.
- Sachin Tendulkar leads 2nd best cricketer and bastmen.
- Team India garnered a total of 89 points staking a claim to the CEAT International Cricket Team of the Year 2007-2008. The Indian team is closely trailed by South Africa with 81 points on the 2nd position, while the Australian Team has taken the 3rd spot with 52 points.
- Mahela Jayawardene, one of the most successful cricketers of all times and perhaps the most stylish player to emerge from Sri Lanka, leads the race for the CEAT International Cricketer of the Year 2007-2008 as on Feb 1, 2008 with a tally of 86 points. Jayawardene has also topped the best batsman and fielders list of the CCR. Amongst Indian players, Sachin Tendulkar, Saurav Ganguly scores the highest with 85 and 82 total points respectively and is ranked 2nd & 3rd on the CCR.
- M Jayawardene has always been recognized for his brilliant performance overseas and has been equally outstanding on his own soil. M Jayawardene has been rated has the highest rated batsman with 77 points in par with S Tendulkar at 77 points and S Ganguly at 69 points. With 77 points to his credit, Sachin Tendulkar is the highest rated Indian batsman who's ranked 2nd on the ratings.
- In the Bowlers category, DW Steyn has topped the list with 62 bowling points, followed by M Murlitharan with 52 bowling points. Amongst the Indian players, Anil Kumble has scored the highest with a total of 41bowling points.
- In the Wicket Keeping category, A Gilchrist (WK) has topped the list with 21 points, followed by various players from India, England, West Indies and Sri Lanka.
