-- TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs), a global not-for-profit network dedicated to the advancement of entrepreneurship announces the 'Annual Retail Summit 2010' to be held on 9th July 2010 at Hotel Sheraton, Saket, New Delhi. Also, at this year's Summit TiE announces for the first time 'TiE Retail Innovation Awards' to stimulate and nourish the entrepreneurial spirit and unique business ideas of individuals or groups.
The event will focus on entrepreneurial aspects of retail and is aimed at taking one through the issues, aspects and challenges of the modern day retail scenario with a vision for future. The TiE Retail Summit endeavors to present perspectives on opportunities & challenges for retail entrepreneurship through a showcase of entrepreneurial successes and discussions among influencers and decision makers within the industry.
The event will attract over 300 delegates comprising aspiring and early stage entrepreneurs, the SME sector, successful entrepreneurs, industry professionals, angel investors, venture capitalists, policy makers, service providers, corporates, students and professionals from the retail sector. In addition to providing in-depth, up-to-date content, the TiE Retail Summit serves as a networking forum designed to provide attendees with practical education, inspiration, role models, and networking opportunities to participate in the various aspects of entrepreneurship. The event is designed to help create a stronger entrepreneurial ecosystem in the country.
This year some of the key speakers at TiE Annual Retail Summit 2010 include Mr. Ashish Kapur (Chairperson - TiE Retail & MD - Yo! China), Mr. Arvind Singhal (Chairman - Technopak Advisors Ltd.), Santosh Desai (MD & CEO - Future Brands), Subhinder Singh Prem (MD - Reebok) and Vandana Luthra (Founder - VLCC) among others.
