Sphinx Adonis launched the first-of-its kind theme based Retail Store and a specialized Event Management Academy. The Academy was inaugurated by Mr. Anant Sardeshmukh, Deputy Director, Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries & Agriculture (MCCIA), in the presence of Mr. Vikram Waghray- Director Sphinx Adonis Events Pvt. Ltd.

For the first time, Event Management Services will be provided in a retail format. The exclusive ‘Eventwala Retail Store’ will be a one-stop-shop for all kinds of events and parties. Catering to a wide segment of consumers, the retail store offers theme-based packages starting from Rs.500 onwards. Eventwala will blend sales, rentals and service models to provide decorations, accessories, food and music as per the theme for the ease of the consumers. The hi-tech store will be equipped with an interactive kiosk that will lead the customer to view his theme party package and also make the payment for it. This unique party consultancy service will be provided by an innovative Automated Party Software Program (APSP).

On the occasion Mr. Waghray said, “With the advent of our unique event retail stores, we are providing a new dimension to the event management industry. The stores will be in the ‘company owned company operated’-(COCO) and ‘company owned and franchise operated’-(COFO) format. The first retail store will be launched in Wanowrie, followed by the second store in PCMC area.” He further added “The launch of our first retail store is the foremost step towards opening a series of 100 such event retail stores in Maharashtra in the next one year and to increase the number to 1000 nationwide in the future.”

Instigated by the dearth of well-trained event management professionals, Sphinx Adonis has come up with the ‘Eventwala Academy of Event Management and Training’ in association with MCCAI. The Academy offers a distinctive combination of 80% practical and 20% theoretical knowledge. Being a specialized event management training academy, it offers certificate courses in corporate training and event business. Along with this, the academy offers full time as well as part time courses in varied sectors, right from sports management to wedding planning. The duration of these specialized courses may vary from 2 months to 1 year, with the course fee ranging between Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 1, 25,000.
