RFID Reduces Jewelery Inventory Time From 3 hours to 10 minutes

Using traditional methods, Jewelery retail shops spend three hours every morning and evening counting their inventory.

Jewelery companies have a special incentive to use RFID based inventory tracking. They spend multiple hours every day doing inventory when their shop could be open to customers. By saving all this time, they are not only saving on employee time but also selling more.
CopperSpiral RFID's solution works by attaching a small RFID tag to each item in the shop. A RFID reader can then read all the items in the shop at the click of the button. Some shop owners use a more visual way by scanning each tray of items. This method of RFID inventory takes about 10 minutes to do the entire store. However, it is still preferred to the manual counting of items which would takes hours.

"A few months back, our lead engineer couldn't enter a store close to his house and buy jewelry because they were doing inventory.
