The 3C Company cheers the Himalayan Club Commemorative Expedition 2010 to conquer MAMOSTONG KANGRI (7516m)
The 3C Company, pioneers of Green development in Delhi NCR, will cheer a team of experts set to conquer Mamostong Kangri (35°08'27″N 77°34'39″E) - the highest peak in the Rimo Muztagh, popularly known as the peak of thousand demons, standing tall at a height of 7516 meters. Situated around 30 kms to the east of Siachen Glacier, the peak is adjacent to the India-China border and has witnessed only a few expeditions so far. It was only a team of Indian civilians led by the legendary Ms. Bachendri Pal which scaled it in 1992.

Ms. Bachendri Pal, the first Indian Women ever to climb Mount Everest wished good luck to the team at the Sports Journalist club, today. She also shared her experiences during her Mt. Mamostong Kangri -I expedition. The team was flagged off in New Delhi today by Col. Ashok Abbey, eminent mountaineer and President of the Himalayan Club in presence of the Top Management of The 3C Company.
The 3C company desires to spread the message of "Think Green, Live Green" through its support to the expedition of Himalayan Club, which is effective in propagating sustainable development in the Himalayas through its climbers and legendary members in its eight decades of existence across the globe.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Brijesh Bhanote, Sr. V.P Sale & Marketing - The 3C Company, said, "We wish good luck to the team of experts all set to conquer Mount Mamostong Kangri in the coming weeks. We hope to support Himalayan Club in our mutual endeavors to promote the thought of green living".
The team comprising of 8 experts left for a six weeks Commemorative Expedition and will advance towards the mountain along the Mamostong Kangri glacier and will try the East Ridge route to the top of the mountain. The members of the team are Aditya Gupta, Debabrat Ghosh,, Debraj Dutta, Gautam Saha, Jyoti Ghosh, Pradeep Chandra Sahoo, Rudra Prasad Haldar, Shibnath Basu who perfectly blend youth and experience.
The team is to reach Leh on 15th of July'10 via Manali and Sarchu driving for three days and staying at different altitudes for better acclimatization to the conditions. The base camp would be established on 18th of July'10 at the snout of Mamostong Glacier. The team aims to conquer the summit by 7th to 9th of August'10.
