Chahiye.info (started by IIT / IIM alumni) will save 1,000 child labourers by donating 20% of its apartment rental brokerage fees to the Prayas Juvenile Aid Center. A single apartment rental will fund the health, education and recreation of a former child labourer for 6 months at one of Prayas' homes. Chahiye.info will tie up 2,500 apartment owners for this project. This is a great example of how an industry perceived as dirty & unprofessional can be transformed into a tool for social good.

In the next 6 months, 2,500 apartments will save the lives of 1,000 children - in an innovative and simple way that will illustrate how business can be a tool for social change.

Chahiye.info (a socially minded venture that offers Real Estate & Recruitment services and has been started by IIT / IIM alumni) has tied up with the Prayas Juvenile Aid Center with the goal of saving 1,000 child labourers who are often victims of human trafficking, abuse, strenuous work etc.

Chahiye offers real estate brokerage services in Indian metros and will give away 20% of our apartment rental brokerage fees to Prayas. A single apartment rental could fund the health, recreation and education for a child for a period of 4 - 5 months at one of Prayas’ homes.

Chahiye is getting apartment owners to register their apartments with us & we hope to reach a base of 2,500 apartments in the next 6 months. The brokerage fees from this base would be sufficient to support 1,000 children at Prayas on an ongoing basis.
