Keeping in line with the National Housing Policy, Ansal Housing and Construction Ltd will be developing houses for the economically weaker sections of the society located at Ashiana Colony on Kanpur road. Ansal Housing has been awarded the contract worth Rs 48.5 crores by Lucknow Development Authority (LDA). Under the scheme of ‘Manyavar Kanshi Ramji Nagar Awas Yojna’, a total of 2352 houses will be constructed at Lucknow and to be completed by December 2008.
