And it was none other than singer Babul Supriyo promoting his new film 'Ogo Bodhu Sundari' for which BIG FM is the radio partner. The singer turned actor was at his tuneful best as he entertained and mesmerized listeners with his music as well as his experiences as the lead in the movie.
Ogo Bodhu Sundori (2010) is an upcoming Bengali film starring acclaimed singer Babul Supriyo in the lead role, paired with beautiful Tollywood actresses Sreelekha Mitra and Monami Ghosh. The 2010 adaptation of the 1980 Uttam Kumar-Sumitra Mukherjee-Moushumi Chatterjee classic is directed by Sunando Mitra. The release date of the film is June 4, 2010..
BIG FM conducted several on-air contests around the film through which lucky winners got the opportunity to meet their favourite singer Babul Supriyo at the radio station. BIG RJ Sushmita who hosts Kolkata Top 30 from 5 pm to 9pm Mon-Sat requested him to sing some of his favourite songs and with his live performance at the studio, the listeners as well as the fans present were enthralled by the experience.
