Radio Misty partners with Rabindra Jayanti Celebrations

Radio Misty 94.3 fm, the first and Number one fm station of North Bengal is soothing the ears of listeners by hosting an Adda on the eve of the birth anniversary of the legendary poet - Rabindranath Tagore. This year marks the 150th anniversary of the birth of the great poet. On the eve of Rabindra Jayanti, Radio Misty has lined up some great on-air and Ground offerings which will take the listeners back to the golden era.

siliguri, west bengal, May 6, 2010 /India PRwire/ -- Radio Misty 94.3 fm, the first and Number one fm station of North Bengal is soothing the ears of listeners by hosting an Adda on the eve of the birth anniversary of the legendary poet - Rabindranath Tagore. This year marks the 150th anniversary of the birth of the great poet. On the eve of Rabindra Jayanti, Radio Misty has lined up some great on-air and Ground offerings which will take the listeners back to the golden era.

Radio Misty has teamed up with Bangla gaan Utsab Committee for the celebrations to be held at Sister Nivedita Auditorium in Siliguri on 9th May where Noted Singer Indrani sen will perform live. Apart from this Trithi Dev verma and Subrata Sengupta will also be present on the occasion. Local artistes will also perform at these celebrations. There will be live updates from all celebrations. Shows on Radio Misty are specially designed on Sunday on Rabindranath Tagore. Shows will play song-lists comprised of popular Tagore's song.
