NINE FM recently became an active medium in making the world 'look good' for the visually challenged by promoting the inauguration of the BHIMBER BLIND SCHOOL at Bidhan Nagar, Siliguri on 2nd May.

NINE FM recently became an active medium in making the world 'look good' for the visually challenged by promoting the inauguration of the BHIMBER BLIND SCHOOL at Bidhan Nagar, Siliguri on 2nd May.

Bhimber Blind School is a non-profit and voluntary institution dedicated to educating rehabilitating visually impaired children.

Since its inception , apart from entertaining its listeners with latest music , latest updates on sports , Bollywood, Hollywood and local happenings , NINE FM has also been involved in Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) programmes in areas like education , health , skill development, etc.

The institution was inaugurated by Honourable Urban Development Minister, Sri Ashok Bhattacharya, Chairman, Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad Sri Pascal Minj & MLA, Chhoten Kishku.

NINE FM as the official radio partner promoted the noble cause on-air. Live interview of the Chairman of Bhimber Blind School was also aired on NINE FM.
