RJ Shekar does it again, makes Hyderabad proud, won two awards at India Radio Forum 2009

On 27th May , their most bindaas and humorous RJ, Shekar won two awards at the fourth India Radio Forum 2009, the Indian Excellence in Radio awards for the best Breakfast Show – ‘BIG Sandadi’ (Telugu) and RJ of the year (Telugu). RJ Shekar hosts ‘BIG Sandadi’ on BIG 92.7 FM between 8-11 am. The India Radio Forum Awards 2009 was held at Taj Lands End, Mumbai. Awards were given in 27 categories, the India Radio Forum received entries from radio stations all over the country. In total BIG 92.7 FM Hyderabad bagged the maximum awards in south with 3 awards in its kitty:
Best Breakfast/Show (Telugu) - ‘BIG Sandadi’
This category is designed for breakfast shows that deserve particular recognition for their high standard, originality, professionalism and innovation.
RJ of the Year (Telugu) – ‘RJ Shekar’
This category is for a Telugu speaking radio RJ /presenter who deserves particular recognition for his overall presentation style, use of music and rapport with their audience
Best Programme Broadcast after 11 AM – ‘BIG Time Pass’ hosted by RJ Raj
This category is designed forprogramme/shows AFTER 11am that deserve particular recognition for their high standard, originality, professionalism and innovation. Entries from weekday or weekend shows are eligible to enter. The show must be predominately broadcast (more than 50%) in Telugu.
