RADIO ONE FM 94.3, the station for the Fataafat Generation created a stir at the 3rd Annual India Radio Forum held today at Mumbai, showcasing the incredible talent of its award winning RJs, programmers as well as its management, and exhibiting its core philosophy that breakthrough creativity stems from having fun.

RADIO ONE RJ Suchi won the Excellence in Radio Award (ERA) for the “RJ of the year (Tamil)” category. Suchi is one of Chennai’s best known radio voices and is the host of RADIO ONE’s breakfast show “Good Morning with Suchi”. She’s been with RADIO ONE for the last one year, and her show is a high energy, no nonsense, tell-it-like-it-is, kind of show. The format includes interactions with listeners on issues that are fresh and on people’s minds, game shows, plus a look at what’s on in the city, all with Suchi’s very unique take on things. What also adds extra zing to the show is Suchi’s immense love for music that is apparent in her great success as a Tamil playback singer as well.

RADIO ONE also took home the award for “RJ of the year (Kannada)” given to RADIO ONE RJ Prithvi as well as the award for “Best Programme / Show, (Kannada)” for the breakfast show “Good Morning Bengalooru” he hosts, that is produced by Rakesh Kumar. The show plays from 7am to 11am Monday through Saturday, and its segment Birthday Bakra, has recently won an award at the 33rd annual RAPAs as well.
