BIG 92.7FM Goa, celebrated dandiya with much aplomb and excitement at the recently held ‘BIG 92.7 FM Dandiya Masti 2007’ on the Panjim Gymkhana Grounds. The event was a mélange of fun, colour and festivity. The ‘Dandiya Masti’ marked the culmination of the Navrathri festival celebrations.

The event presented by BIG 92.7 FM in association with Panjim Gujarathi Yuvak Mandal was attended by the largest ever crowd as a result of the on-air invitations by BIG FM RJs. People, from every possible age group, dressed in all their finery attended the extravaganza. Everybody danced the night away to the pulsating beats of dandiya and garba music and other popular Bollywood hits.

Musicians from Mumbai were flown down especially for the event and through their musical enthusiasm provided just the right amount of energy to liven up the crowd and keep them on their toes till the wee hours of the morning.

BIG FM RJs Prince, Eknath, Uday, Ayesha, Aryan and Namrata met up with all their fans and other invitees and joined in the revelry. BIG RJ Uday said, “The evening was simply superb. The crowds were grooving away and I had a great time dancing with fans of BIG 92.7 FM and my friends!”

BIG FM RJ Ayesha added, “I have never been to a Dandiya night before and being my first time I was really excited about the evening…and of course I was not let down at all! I invited listeners to come and teach me how to do the Dandiya and they turned up in large numbers and we all danced together. We had a complete blast!

Additional entertainment was provided to the crowd in the form of a fashion show and models were seen walking the ramp in traditional, ethnic and yet fresh designs.
