Tweet-- BIG 92.7 FM, India’s No. 1 FM Station, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, hosted a daylong activity to promote camaraderie between commuters and drivers of public vehicle which had somewhat taken a downturn with the recent spate of road accidents in the city.
BIG 92.7 FM had selected October 2,for this important road safety initiative to remind people that the spirit of Gandhigiri needed to be applied to their everyday lives especially while traveling on roads as road rage leads to maximum fatalities The radio station put together a unique meet and greet for drivers and commuters of Kolkata at three important Bus goomties at Jadavpur 8B, Behala 14 No, and Nagerbajar.The meet saw eminent Kolkatans and RJs of BIG 92.7 FM speak about the important issue. There were constructive exchanges of ideas on how to prevent accidents and make the City of Joy a safe haven for commuters.
BIG 92.7 FM is trying to make a BIG difference in the life of every Kolkatan. The essence of the radio station has been brewed to a perfect decibel. An extravagant mix of music, glamour and true concern, the road safety event was part of the Company’s Corporate Social Responsibility activity that offered only a glimpse of what extent the radio station will go to help the Kolkatans to be careful about their own safety and the people around them on the road. The road safety initiative was a BIG effort to bring together all forces that can effectively alert people about their safety while traveling.
