These devices have been specially designed to supplement the company's superior 4G services. In July, Jio added one more cellular device to its WATER series, the LYF WATER 8 priced at Rs. 10,999.

The sleek design of the LYF WATER 8 facilitates ease of use and a rich digital experience. Additionally, it flaunts a glass back panel which adds to its aesthetic appeal. The phone also sports a metal frame along its sides for enhanced protection.

Users can watch HD videos on the device's 5-inch screen that has a 720x1280 resolution. Offering a color depth of 24 bits, the screen is protected with Gorilla Glass that helps prevent scratches.

Superior camera features

The rear camera of the WATER 8 allows users to capture HD images with a resolution of 4208x3120. The 13 megapixel camera is equipped with a strong ChromaFlash, CMOS sensor, and an OptiZoom feature. The OptiZoom feature allows users to considerably enhance the image quality and offers them the ability to zoom in up to six times. The 5 megapixel front camera comes with the resolution of 2592x1944 and has an inbuilt LED flash.

Advanced software

The device offers a 3GB RAM and a 16GB ROM which may be extended up to 128GB using a memory card. The memory card becomes functional after being inserted into the slot for the second SIM. The phone processor is an octa core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon operating at 1.5 GHz.

WATER 8 supports 3G and 4G connectivity options. Additionally, GPRS, LTE, Wi-Fi, GLONASS, micro USB, Bluetooth, and USB OTG options are also available to users.

Reliance LYF smart phones offer an extensive range of LTE-enabled devices at affordable prices. The FLAME 3, 4, 5, and 6 variants are offered at a discounted price of Rs. 2,999. This allows low-to-mid level customers, the access to 4G services. The devices include the dual SIM feature and support 10 Indian languages for convenient usage.
