A BRIEF PROFILE OF PHYLICIA INSTITUTE OF PEOPLE EXCELLENCE
Phylicia Institute of People Excellence (PIPE) is an off shoot of Phylicia Foundation, a public charitable trust. PIPE is an educational institution with difference both in terms of its distinct vision and innovative means by which it seeks to translate the vision into reality. Such an institution was contemplated to be the prime need of the hour in view of inherent inadequacies of educational system. Academic excellence is one of the smaller weapons needed to tackle life. No education is complete unless it is targeted to the world around. The biggest challenge that the Indian educational system faces today is employability. We are the largest pool of educated youth, but unfortunately, unemployable.
The course curriculum has been designed globally by a team of experts from VOLVO and is taught to students across the globe. Environmental Care, Go Green, Quality Education and Eco-friendliness are the core values the Institution is wedded to.
"Education beyond curriculum", being the guiding motto of the Institute, our course curriculum imparts skills that integrate theoretical learning with skills that makes one employable in corporate houses with definite focus on heavy construction and mining equipments. Besides, the life coping skill programmes shall instill conviction and confidence in them to charter their own course as individual entrepreneurs.
We live in a global village. Hence, there is the need to groom promising talents to achieve global benchmarks by educating them in an ideal ambience with the help of enlightened and proficient faculties. PIPE pitches in here. India currently has around 347 institutes of higher education and 16,885 colleges with a total enrollment of over 9.9 million. These produce around 4, 95,000 technical graduates, nearly 2.3 million other graduates and over 3, 00,000 post-graduates every year. PIPE in its endeavour, aims to add about 5-10 percent of the total available talent pool to be groomed to meet the industry requirements.
