Rural Technology Park organizaed fet for Women Welfare Association National Institute of Rural Development on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee Celebrations with International Special Needs Institution Trust and other partners of RTP-NIRD

This Women Welfare Association's fete has been organized as a small Mela in Rural Technology Park with all its partners, for displaying their products, the stalls also allotted for handicrafts, fabrics, toys, games and food court. And the Mela was for two days i.e. on 11th and 12th Aug. 2009.
The fete was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Minister of State for Rural Development Shri. Sisri Adhikari is the Chief Guest on 11th of August 2009, And the guest of honour are Director General of National Institute of Rural Development Shri. B.K Sinha I.A.S, Head of Women Welfare Association Smt. Roopa Sinha, Director Shri. K.N. Kumar I.A.S, M.V. Rao I.A.S, And Project Direcor Rural Tehcnolology Park _NIRD Mr. Sentheli Vinayagam.
On this occasion Hon'ble Minister of State for Rural Development Shri. Sisri Adhikari said that he has very impressed with the work of Women Welfare Association and reached 25th year of success, and hesaid that this is the memorable event. In wihichhe got to know about WWA NIRD’s activities like, yearly donations, Milk, food packets, clothes, arranging many training programs Annual Sports Day, Music, Dancing, Tailoring, Beauty Training and ice-cream making etc. forwomen’s to stand on their own feet and should not depend on others.
Rani Annamalai has given the thankful speech to the Hon'ble Minister of State for Rural Development Shri. Sisri Adhikari, Guest of honours and the Rural Technology Park Partners and other members who has attended the fete. And on behalf of Women Welfare Association she has asked from National Institute of Rural Development Rural Technology Park for more space to extend their organization's activities.
