Barry-Wehmiller International Resources (BWIR) has announced a strategic relationship with Tacton Systems AB of Sweden for the global delivery of services around design automation in SolidWorks based on TactonWorks, and product configuration systems in general based on Tacton Configurator.

Chennai, Tamil Nadu, February 10, 2009 /India PRwire/ -- Barry-Wehmiller International Resources (BWIR) has announced a strategic relationship with Tacton Systems AB of Sweden for the global delivery of services around design automation in SolidWorks based on TactonWorks, and product configuration systems in general based on Tacton Configurator. The services will be provided by BWIR as part of the eConfiguration practice that covers sales configurators, engineering configurators and engineering automation. The partnership is intended to combine the product strength of Tacton with the services expertise of BWIR to provide solutions to enhance the competitiveness of prospective customers in the marketplace.
