We often forget what we as individuals can to do to make this World a better place to live in and spend time only spreading negatives about humanity, forgetting the basic human nature of wanting to live in peace. So much so, that we often spend time waiting for the change to happen, consistently undermining our own potential to be the change. But Glenna Shaw and Geetesh Bajaj, two MVPs (Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals) think differently and hence have started a unique initiative “PowerPoint for Peace”, a Global Community Project. The project is launched with the hope to build a universal presentation that recognizes the contributions and commitments of people from around the World to improve the planet and the lives of our fellow inhabitants. www.authorSTREAM.com is being used as a platform for this great initiative.

Launching the initiative, Geetesh said, “There’s been so much of negative and alarmist press lately, a lot of good work in various fields of human pursuit has gone unnoticed. This is an attempt to lend a voice to all the good work being done out there—by individuals; by groups; by corporations. It’s an attempt to wipe out the negative vibes by spreading the good word.”

Umesh Sharma, the Product Head of authorSTREAM, who has been actively involved in developing the project said, “We feel proud to be associated with this global peace initiative. We want this project to invoke a thought to find ways to establish World peace and celebrate all that’s right in the World. We invite all to be a part of this project.”

Participating in the initiative is very simple. All one has to do is to create a single slide that depicts a contribution that helps make the World a better place to live in. Slides must contain the names of the individual, group or company and have to be uploaded using the special authorSTREAM link:
