Ms. Sarita Reddy takes over as Chairperson of FICCI Ladies Organisation - FLO Hyderabad Chapter from Ms.Vani Subhas and Mrs.Anjum Babukhan hands over reigns of Young FLO to Kamini Saraf at the 6th Annual Session and Change of Guard Ceremony held today. Eminent Senior Advocate Mrs. Nalini Chidambaram was the guest of Honour and Mr. P.Ramakanth Reddy, Chief Secretary Govt. A.P. was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

Speaking on the on the occasion, Sarita Reddy Executive Director of Gayatri Sugars said, “As the incoming Chairperson of FLO, my team and I would be committed to take the activities of the Hyderabad Chapter to a higher level and bring in new programmes to empower the women in their professional and entrepreneurial endeavours.”
Kamini Saraf, the incoming Young FLO Chairperson, is the Founder of Akshat Events, one of India’s leading Fashion Events Company.
Mrs. Nalini Chidambaram, said “I feel honoured to be present on this occasion amongst women who work towards empowerment of not just women but the community at large. It gives me pleasure to see the growing strength of women entrepreneurs in the country who are breaking tradition and overcoming long-held socio-cultural mindsets.” In her interactions with the FLO members, Mrs. Chidambaram also shared her views on company law & taxation rules and the protection of women and child rights.
Commenting on the commendable work being done by FLO, Mr. P. Ramakanth Reddy, Chief Secretary Govt. A.P. said, “Promoting entrepreneurship and professional excellence in women is an important aspect for improving the society. The number of women-owned businesses have grown steadily nationwide. Organisations like FLO have made substantial impact on the society through their dedicated socially responsible works.”
The FICCI FLO Hyderabad Chapter would have Mrs. Ajita Reddy as Vice Chairperson, Jyotsna Angara as Secretary and Monika Aggarwal, Treasurer.

FLO was established in 1983, as a division of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) which is the apex body of industry and commerce in India.
