The Pragati Sports and Education Society or PSES has organized an event on Saturday, December 01, 2007 in Malad to felicitate students who have done outstandingly well. Prominent personalities Basvarajji Patil, Shaileshji Shivraj Patil, P. U. Mehta, Govinda Ahuja, and Ashok Sutrale are to be present.

PSES came into being in the year 1994 under the leadership of Sunil Koli. The year of establishment saw mighty Tennis Ball Cricket teams clash for the prized winning sum of Rs. 1,00,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand, or One Lakh, or One Lac.) Maharashtra’s prominent Vilas Rao Deshmukh, Ramrao Adik, Salim Zakaria, and Govindrao Adik were also present among the spectators. All the spectators, not so quite a bunch of Tennis Ball Cricket enthusiasts had traveled from all over India to watch this match. Imagine a Clash of The Titans in the year 1994. Today, India recognizes this society as the only organization that packs quite a powerful punch in Tennis Ball Cricket. Every Tennis Ball Cricket Match organized by this organization plays to a packed audience.

Other than believing in taking part in cricket matches, marathons, and other sports, PSES believes in being active in the field of education. This event in Malad in front of Bhujale Lake Ramnagar has been organized to honor citizens from various disciplines including medicine, sports, administration, and journalism.

The festivities begin at six o’clock in the evening. Sunil Koli has promised an entertaining evening complete with song and dance. Here’s a society to get acquainted within your neighborhood.
