Delhi, the most happening city in India experiences number of events, concerts, shows etc. This event was special and different, because neither it was a concert nor a show it was exclusive because the host and the gusts were from Congress. Recently Hotel Ashoka became the venue for a glorious ring ceremony of Amrita Dhawan (President DUSU) and Deepak Chaudhry (Leading Businessman & Secretary Delhi Youth Congress) in the capital recently, where all congress leaders arrived to bless the couple. This ring ceremony took place in the gracious presence of UPA chair person Sonia Gandhi, Renuka Chaudhry, K.K. Walia, Yoganand Shastri, Arjun Singh, Jagdish Tytler, Sajjan Kumar, Ashok Gehlot, Rajeev Shukla with his wife and many more congressy leaders. Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit was the invitee for this ceremony but she couldn’t tern up and his son Sandeep Dikshit made his presence on behalf of her.

The entire atmosphere was like a grand get to gather of congress leaders with both the families of Deepak and Amrita. Every body was seen busy in greeting and receiving each other. It was a grand occasion with the arrangements of delicious food, and proper entertainment.

Other family members like Deepak’s father Tarsen Chaudhry and family. Amrita’s father Vipin Dhawan and mother Rajini Dhawan and Sister Shilpa Dhawan were also present at the occasion. It was almost like a marriage with the arrangements.
