Welspun Gujarat Stahl Rohren Limited (WGSRL), the fastest growing company in India (Source: Business Today - May 2007), has bagged prestigious pipeline orders worth Rs. 700 Crores (USD 170 mn.) for the supply of line pipes overseas. These orders are acquired close on the heels of the Rs. 1089 crore orders WGSRL received last month from both India and overseas. The new orders have taken Welspun’s current pending order book position to approximately Rs. 4,700 Crores, including the orders executed in the last quarter of FY 07.

Commenting on the orders, Mr. B.K.
