Aristocrat Luggage net profit jumps 3 times in the first six months

India's second largest luggage manufacturer reported Profit After Tax of Rs 0.05 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2006.

India’s second largest luggage manufacturer reported Profit After Tax of Rs 0.05 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2006, as compared to Rs 0.06 crore for the second quarter of the previous year. Total income at Rs 14.29 crore has seen a 19% rise for the quarter, compared to Rs 12.06 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Aristocrat, reported revenues for the six months ended September 30, 2006 of Rs 42.02 crore a 40% increase as compared to revenues of Rs 30.38 crore during the same six-month period in the prior year. Net Profit at Rs 1.77 crore, has seen about 300% rise for the first six months of the year, compared to Rs 0.45 crore during the same six-month period in the prior year. EPS for the half-year stands at Rs 3.16 (not annualized).
