Grammy nominated and world renowned electronic music pioneer & DJ, Tiësto is all set to enthrall the Indian audiences yet again with his 6th offering of the very popular ‘In Search of Sunrise’ series along with the ‘Elements of Life’ DVD at a special screening in the city of Bangalore. The albums were exclusively released for his Indian fans by India’s leading music production, promotion & distribution arm of The Times Group, Times Music.

With ‘In Search of Sunrise’ 6: Ibiza’, Dutch DJ Tiësto proves just why his music has become a rage across the globe and with almost cult-like fan following. Staying true to his progressive roots, this 2 CD compilation is pure club ready bliss.

Speaking on the launch, Mr. Adarsh Gupta, Chief Operating Officer, Times Music, said “We are extremely excited about offering DJ Tiesto’s album on Times Music. He is an artiste who has done exceedingly well internationally and this association is a step towards strengthening the partnership and an endeavor to reach out to his ever-increasing fan base in India”.

The first high point of this compilation is DJ Tiesto’s own pulsing mix of Immogen Heap’s ‘Hide & Seek’. The album is a 150 minutes of fluid, hypnotic mixes that stimulate your overworked brain and promotes a sense of deep relaxation.

One of the most mesmerizing tracks is Tiesto’s remix of ‘Imagination’ from the Queen of Rocktronica, ‘JES’. She is perhaps, best known as the voice behind Motorcycle's oft-remixed ‘As the Rush Comes’. The Tiësto remix of ‘Imagination’ frames her breathy voice with cascading layers of complex, complimentary harmonies. The other tracks like Glenn Morrison’s ‘Contact’ and Tom Cloud’s explosive ‘Mercury Room’ take this album to a whole other trance heaven…

Many of the tracks have an oddly bittersweet quality. They're sad, in a way, but they're also beautiful, reflective and even serene. Though each is a distinct piece, the songs flow together like a continuous track. And Tiësto shows off his ability to create seamless transitions!

Other particularly stirring tracks include ‘Falling’, ‘Tell Me’ and many more!

The highlight of the evening would be the exclusive screening of his ‘Elements of Life World Tour’. After more than a year of entertaining the globe, with more than 26 major shows across 21 countries that have seen Tiësto perform to more than 270,000 people (and still counting!) here is the biggest and his most anticipated, the ‘Elements Of Life’ double DVD set with a full live registration recorded during his concert in the famous Parken Stadium in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The atmosphere captured on video gives a fantastic impression of what the ‘Elements of Life World Tour’ is all about.

Both the DVD and CD will feature a wide selection of classic Tiësto tracks like ‘Love Comes Again’, ‘Flight 643’, ‘Lethal Industry’, ‘Dance4Life’, ‘In The Dark’ and many more alongside special features including ‘On The Road’, TV commercials, music videos making this a must for all Tiësto fans!

About Times Music

In 1838, The Times Group started operations. After about 169 years, with over 7000 employees, 11 publishing centers, 5 daily newspapers and 2 lead magazines that reach over 2468 cities and towns, the group has become the biggest media conglomerate in India. The Times Group boasts of producing the world's largest English daily broadsheet - The Times of India, the world's second largest financial daily - The Economic Times and top film and women's magazines - Filmfare and Femina.

In the late 90s, after about a decade of liberalization, the media environment in the country began changing. The distinct difference between the media and the entertainment industry, prevalent till then, started to blur. With an established numero uno tag in publishing, The Times Group felt the need to diversify into other associated sectors. The organization set out on its path to metamorphose into an integrated media and entertainment firm. As part of the initiative, the company made its foray into spaces of radio, internet, multimedia and music. That was the genesis of Times Music, the music production, promotion and distribution arm of The Times Group.

The intent of the music label was to create albums tailored to appeal to the discerning audience. Times Music pioneered the concepts of spiritual, world and remix music in India and established itself as the No. 1 music label in the spiritual music genre. Some of the biggest names in the music scene rendered their voices to produce some of the best known albums for Times Music -The Golden Raaga Collection, Gayatri Mantra, Himalayan Chants and Hanuman Chalisa.

With the advent of digital music, the music industry once again started experiencing a boom. However, the revival was primarily led by commercial film music and therefore the group decided to launch its independent Hindi and regional film music label, JUNGLEE MUSIC.

Junglee Music took off last year with the biggest commercial blockbuster of 2007, WELCOME starring Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor, Mallika Sherawat, Paresh Rawal and Nana Patekar. The music of WELCOME has been composed by some of the biggest music directors of India - Himesh Reshammiya, Sajid-Wajid & Anand Raj Anand and has managed to climb to the top of the charts in no time.
