Kiran Hegde learnt basic Hindustani flute from Prabhakar Bhat Sirsi and Venkatesh Godkhindi. Presently undergoing advanced training with the famous violinist Dr. N. Rajam in gayaki ang of Gwalior gharana. He has given solo performances in Bangalore, Mysore, Hubli, Pune, Mumbai, Lucknow, Tirupatl and Miraj among others. He has received the Pandit V. D. Paluskar Memorial award in 2004 and 'Surmani' title in Kal Ke Kalakar Programme conducted By Sur Singar Samsad Mumbai.
Lakshmi Ramakrishnan-Sreeram is a Chennai based Hindustani vocalist with many years of training under eminent teachers in Mumbai as well as many performances to her credit. Her training has been in the khayal form of Hindustani vocal music. Her gayaki (style) is rooted in the Agra-Gwalior traditions. She has struck her own approach to khayal singing after getting encouragement from her gurus. She has also been trained to sing thumri and bhajan.
