Mayukh Mazumder, an upcoming talent in the world of music will perform a live concert " A Tribute to a legend Kishore Kumar".
The musical nite is being organized by Whitefield Lions Club Services Trust. The concert will be held at ECC Auditorium, ECC Road, Whitefield on 10th April 2010 from 7:00 PM to 9:45 PM.

Mayukh Mazumder, is a singing sensation who had been initiated to Hindustani Classical Music from Pt. Mukund Ghosh (Kolkata) at an early age of 10. He has been part of numerous reality shows like, Zee TV's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Zee TV's Antakshari, V Channels Super Singer contest. His presence is felt in the Kannada and Bengal Music Industry. Over the last 3 years Mayukh has given over 500 Live Concerts for various Organizations & Corporate Companies across India.
"It gives me great honor to be a part of this musical-nite, which is a tribute to the legendary Kishore da. I would sincerely like to thank the Whitefield Lions Club for presenting me with this opportunity. Bangalore audience has adopted me with lots of love since I moved over to this city 8 yrs back. I consider myself lucky to have sung the only Kishore Kumar number "Aadu Aata Aadu" in the Kannada film Industry which was recreated by the same Music Director, Rajan Nagendra" stated Mayukh Mazumder.
"The Whitefield Lions club Services Trust" is proud to present this musical-nite. The Lions Club of Bangalore, Whitefield has been involved in three major projects: Education, Health and Vocational Training. They have adopted a Primary School in
Varthur and have provided basic amenities like the water facilities, desks, and uniforms and have appointed a teacher. They provide English and Math coaching through their bank of volunteers apart from conducting regular health camps.
Free computer training and English Coaching Classes are provided for the underprivileged in the local area. Eye screening camps for senior citizens and school children are held regularly. Regular Blood donation camps are also held at corporates. Plans are on to impart Vocational training at the centre during the week-days.
The proceeds from this concert will help the trust in supporting the existing on-going projects of the club as well as to scale up the clubs involvement in empowering the women in particular.

The Singer & Composer had His training in Hindustani Classical Music from Pt. Mukund Ghosh (Kolkata) at an early age of 10 years. He shifted to Bangalore 8 years ago & with likeminded & musically inclined Friends started a Live Music community, MAYA ~The Musical. It is dedicated to enthrall audiences with Popular classic & new Hindi & Kannada Film Numbers. Mayukh later learned classical music from Pt. Nagaraj Hawaldar in Bangalore. Over the last 3 years, MAYUKH has given over 500 Live Concerts for various Organizations & Corporate Companies across India.
