The show is a part of a 7 city tour across India by Lounge Piranha from Bangalore who released their album, Going Nowhere in Bangalore on the 12th October '08. The art-rock band has performed in Manipal earlier and has had a brilliant response and is glad to be back!

Manipal Jam Team is a student organization that organizes gigs and jam sessions in an effort to revive the dormant almost dead music scene in Manipal. The aim is to provide a platform for Manipal bands as well as bring new music into Manipal from across the country. As of October '08, they have 3 official shows (Lounge Piranha, Public Issue and Blind Image live in Manipal) and over 8 jam sessions to their credit.
