In an endeavor to boost sales closer to the month end, Courtyard by Marriott, Gurgaon recently hosted its bi-monthly 'M Day-Making it happen!' M-Day stands for more; more in terms of customers, revenue, associates and opportunities. The purpose behind this initiative was to celebrate the hotel's relationship with its valued customers and develop the on-going relationship by providing indispensable services in order to ensure customer satisfaction. On M-Day business is driven across through effective customer communication and closing of loose ends.

At Courtyard by Marriott, Gurgaon, associates of all levels gathered together at a special lunch organized to celebrate the raving success of the hotel, customer service and new business development. Also known as Marriott Asia Pacific's New Closing Day, the initiative was held at all Marriott hotels across the Asia Pacific region.
Speaking about the initiative, Pariva Rustagi Director of Sales & Marketing Delhi, quoted, "The M-Day-Making it happen! Initiative is a unique way to show the brand's support to its hard working associates. It is also a way of letting our customers know that we constantly strive to add more value to their business and their customers, provide their travelers and delegates with more options and reward their loyalty with more Marriott Reward Points."
Injecting additional motivation to the 'M Day- making it Happen!' initiative is the recognition plaque from Marriott International awarded to the hotel or cluster that produced the maximum revenue out of their day. The best practice is shared across the region.
