-- Courtyard by Marriott, Pune Hinjewadi is celebrating the Marriott 'Associate Appreciation Week' from 17th May to 21st May 2010. Each year, Marriott marks the anniversary of its founding, May 20, by setting aside a week to express appreciation to their worldwide family of associates. The appreciation week is a unique initiative to acknowledge all associates for their dedication, commitment and outstanding service.
In this inimitable endeavor where the world's leading lodging company treats its employees as invaluable assets and pays a tribute to their unflinching commitment and service, Mr. Deepak Manocha General Manager - Courtyard by Marriott, Pune Hinjewadi opines, "The Associate Appreciation Week is an embedded aspect of the rich Marriott culture. We at Marriott follow the core values of taking good care of our associates. The Associate Appreciation Week is a gesture that recognizes our employees for the service they provide not only to our customers, but also in the communities in which we do business."
In a show of appreciation for the hard work of its associates, Courtyard by Marriott, Pune Hinjewadi has lined up special enjoyable activities whereby the senior management of the hotel will look after its employees and pamper them for an entire week. Fun team exercises such as tug-of-war, box cricket, theme based food festivals, fashion shows, contests like Mad AD world and dance competition are being planned and executed by the Managers, Executives, Chefs and Stewards alike. Two days into the celebrations and the associates divided into four houses are seen participating with gusto and fervor. The AAW week long festivities at the property will culminate on 20th May with the Cultural Day celebration where the senior management of the hotel would organize a food festival and entertainment for the associates thereby paving way to their first anniversary merriment.
