Designed as a blend of colonial splendour and modern architecture, the 21-room resort is aesthetically perched on a hillock in the midst of oak, pine and cedar forests and commands a dazzling view of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks. It is located away from the hustle and bustle of the town of Ranikhet and is situated at a height of 6,200 feet above sea level in the village of Majkhali, just outside the Ranikhet cantonment.

Jhula Devi temple in Ranikhet is very popular with the locals and is famous for the innumerable bells tied there by devotees to get their wishes fulfilled.
Chaubatia, 10 km away from Ranikhet, houses the botanical gardens and a fruit research institute where one can see different varieties of exotic flowers and orchids. It also serves as a vantage point to view snow-clad Himalayan mountain peaks including Nanda Devi, Trishul, Nandaghunti and Nilkanth.

By Road
