Marriott group serves the society in full spirits - Spirit to Serve the young ones at Marriott Home for a better and brighter future
Marriott International takes one more step to promise a brighter future to the young children. As a part of their CSR initiative, every Marriott property in India has been raising funds to contribute towards the construction of a Kitchen for 300 people at Marriott Home in Chengalpet.

A sum of Rs.10,00,000 was given away by Mr.Rajeev Menon to the Directors of RSO
-- Mr. Rajeev Menon, Area Vice President of India, Pakistan, Maldives and Malaysia, of Marriott Group and the members of Rising Star Outreach foundation were in Chennai for a board meeting that would decide the upcoming renovation and construction work at Marriott Home. Mr. Menon handed over a cheque of Rs.10, 00,000, collected by all the properties in India, to Mr. Ron Hanson, Director of RSO, which will be utilized for the on-going construction at Marriott Home.
Rising Star Outreach and Marriott International Group’s vision is to see the children develop into independent individuals and find a place in the society.
As a part of ‘Spirit to serve’ initiative, this effort is taken to reflect on the sincere desire to make a difference in the lives of others in our neighbourhood. Mr. Rajeev Menon spent some quality time with the founders of Raising Star Outreach and discussed on the future plans for Marriott Home kids and how they could be encouraged to achieve excellence.
