In the year 1995 the resort opened its doors to the domestic tourists who travelled from across the country to the holy shrine of Mata Vaishnodevi. It was the only excursion/S.seeing spot, which could be reached within a short span of 80 Kms from Vaishnodevi, Katra, Jammu. Sanasar and Nathatop are the attractions near to Patnitop.
