Appoints Badri Sanjeevi as its Chief Financial Officer

Mumbai, Maharashtra, August 4, 2008 /India PRwire/ -- People Group, the Anupam Mittal led New Media and Entertainment Group, welcomes Mr. Badri Sanjeevi as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Badri will be responsible for managing profitable growth across group businesses, in line with the company’s overall vision.

Post the appointment, Badri says, “I have joined at a time when People Group is looking at a robust growth plan ahead. We have able leadership team in place, and I am excited to be a part of the next wave of growth. I look forward to engaging in some creative disruption that the company is known for, and to have the opportunity to work with visionaries in the New Media Business.”

Prior to joining the group, Mr. Sanjeevi was with Deloitte MCS Ltd. London (Corporate Strategy Advisory Group) in-charge of Strategic Business Planning, Operational Improvement, Cost reduction, Shared Services and M&A related projects. Badri, an MBA from INSEAD-Wharton, France, has supported the Global Executive Team across Deloitte worldwide and has assisted in developing strategy and facilitated strategy workshops for the organization globally.

Talking about the new changes in the organization, Mr. Anupam Mittal, CMD, People Group says, “We are delighted to have Badri join us at the table amongst our top management.
