MatexNet P Ltd., has announced the appointment of Mr. J. Krishna Prasad as its President.

Mr. Krishna Prasad, (52 years), joined MatexNet in July 2008 after completing three year stint as Chief Financial Officer at the Bharat Matrimony Group where he was responsible for raising two rounds of PE funding and helped the company grow from strength a of 120 to 920 employees.

Prior to joining Bharat Matrimony, he served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at SRM Technologies from 2002 to 2005. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 28 years of experience in the field of Finance with various established companies including BPL Mobile as General Manager Finance from 1999 to 2002; Sterling Holiday Resorts as Vice President – Finance for an eight year stint starting in 1991; The Sanmar Group, where he served as the Senior Manager – Finance from 1986-1991, after having started his career as the Regional Accounts Officer at Agfa-Gevaert India Limited between 1980 and 1986.

Mr. Krishna Prasad has established a number of Joint Ventures, and M&A transactions with various companies that he as worked in.

Mr. Krishna Prasad is an active member of various professional and management forums and has been part of various special committees set up by the Chamber of Commerce.
