Cigna TTK Adds New Plan 'Accident Care' To Its Lifestyle Protection Category

Bengaluru, Karnataka, March 9, 2015 /India PRwire/ -- After the launching of its 'Critical Care' plan, Cigna TTK now introduces 'Accident Care', a new plan aimed at providing coverage for expenses incurred as a result of accidents. The two new fixed-benefits products were developed to enhance the company's Lifestyle Protection Product portfolio, which is a category aimed at providing protection to customers during uncertain, adverse circumstances.

The 'Accident Care' plan which comes with 3 options i.e. Basic, Enhanced and Comprehensive covers, provides coverage for varied expenses including death and disablement benefits, coma, broken bones and burns benefits, orphan benefits, provisions for ambulance and funeral expenses and an education fund, among others. Policyholders under this plan can avail covers ranging between Rs.50,000 to Rs.10 crores. Entrants should be aged between 5 - 25 years (children) and 18 - 80 yrs. (adults). The plan features policy periods of 1, 2 or 3 yrs. with lifetime renewability.

The 'Critical Illness' plan, which comes with two options i.e. the Basic and Enhance plans, offers coverage for 15 specified critical ailments. Covers under this plan range between Rs.1 lakh to Rs.25 crores and an entry age that ranges between 18 to 65 years.
