ODC for Seco Tools is a popular business model, especially in the IT companies. The ODC is made up of a dedicated team of programmers and developers who have been handpicked to complement Seco's skill set and culture. This customized team works exclusively on behalf of Seco Tools at the secured environment in the TechniGraphics facility in Pune. The infrastructure and security has been designed to meet Seco's specific standards and specifications.
On this Occasion, Mr. Uday Vaidya, the Managing Director of TechniGraphics said, "The Offshore Development Center is an important milestone in the TechniGraphics - Seco Tools business relationship. It is a result of mutual trust which has developed after working closely with each other for a relatively short period of time".
TechniGraphics India has been working with Seco Tools for the past 2 years. Since beginning of this year, they are implementing the enterprise wide Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution for Seco Tools. For this purpose, TechniGraphics has established the ODC.
Mr. Anand Joshi, the Vice President and General Manager, TechniGraphics added, "Seco Tools is and will continue to be a very important customer for us. We are working closely - like partners with their R&D, Engineering, Marketing and IT departments worldwide. I am confident that this moment will mark a key landmark in our long-term relationship."
The ODC for Seco Tools is allowing TechniGraphics' team to work directly on the Seco Tools network and will enable them to implement the "SISU PLM" for Seco effectively. Jointly, the two organizations plan to use the ODC for all projects carried out for Seco Tools. The plan is to establish the Global Technical Support at TechniGraphics India for Seco Headquarters and their 40 subsidiaries across the world.

The Seco Tools story with Technigraphics begins back in 2006, when a local collaboration in India was established on Product Data Information to support the growing local sales and production unit.
To optimize the developments and meet the changing business conditions, Seco Tools India decided to utilize Technigraphics as the preferred supplier of Product Data Information. This helped us accelerate expansion by tapping into Technigraphics capabilities. The collaboration has then gradually evolved over the years both in volumes and complexity as well as from a local Indian initiative to global one with the Seco Tools Group.
