Wipro bags sixth consecutive ASTD 'BEST' Award - The only organisation in the world to achieve this distinction
For the sixth years in a row, Wipro has been conferred the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) BEST award for its learning and development practices. Wipro has won this award consecutively from 2004 to 2009. It is the only company in the world to win this award six times.

The American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) BEST Awards recognize organizations that demonstrate enterprise-wide success through employee learning and development.
According to Tony Bingham, ASTD's president and CEO, "The BEST Award winners set the standard for exceptional learning and performance. And Wipro has achieved just that, it has also been ranked the top amongst all Indian companies this year. It's more than just a win, it's an honor.
